MetaMask Wallet Setup

Here's a step-by-step guide for downloading Metamask Wallet, importing the Abay GERD contract, and getting the GERD wallet address on the Binance Smart Chain:

1. Download MetaMask Wallet:

For desktop users: Visit the MetaMask website and choose the appropriate browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge. Follow the instructions to install the extension.

For mobile users: Visit the [Google Play Store] for Android devices or the [App Store] for (iOS) devices then download and install the app.

2. Set up MetaMask:

Open the MetaMask extension or app on your device.

You'll be prompted to create a new wallet or import an existing one. If you're new to MetaMask, select "Create a New Wallet."

Choose a strong password and accept the terms of use.

The app will display a 12-word recovery phrase. Write down this phrase and store it in a secure location, as it will be used to recover your wallet if necessary. Never share this phrase with anyone.

Confirm your recovery phrase by selecting the words in the correct order, then proceed to the wallet dashboard.

Add the Binance Smart Chain network to MetaMask:

Click on the network dropdown at the top of the MetaMask dashboard (it should say "Ethereum Mainnet" by default).

Select "Custom RPC" to add a new network.

Enter the following details for the Binance Smart Chain:

Network Name: Binance Smart Chain

New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

Chain ID: 56

Currency Symbol: BNB

Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

Click "Save" to complete the process.

4. Import the Abay GERD contract:

On the main MetaMask dashboard, click "Add Token" at the bottom.

Choose the "Custom Token" tab.

Enter the GERD token contract address in the "Token Contract Address" field: 0x660941bb4AA9FcBED00375673D21088A9d0C5019

The app should automatically populate the "Token Symbol" and "Decimals of Precision" fields.

Click "Next," then "Add Tokens" to complete the process.

5. Get your GERD wallet address:

From the main MetaMask dashboard, ensure that the Binance Smart Chain network is selected.

Your wallet address will be displayed below your account name. Click on the address or the clipboard icon next to it to copy it.

You can now share this address to receive GERD tokens. Never share your private key or recovery phrase with anyone.

That's it! You can now manage your GERD tokens using MetaMask Wallet on the Binance Smart Chain. Keep in mind that you will need a small amount of BNB in your wallet to cover gas fees for token transfers and other transactions on the Binance Smart Chain network. However, you do not need any fund to receive.
